From Valley to Redemption: Curry’s Persistence

Stephen Curry’s 2022 is a story of holding on. After the 2019 Finals injury and a fractured roster, Golden State missed the playoffs twice; Curry was tagged "system player" and "washed."

He neither left nor compromised. In the depths he built his body, mentored youngsters, and waited for Klay’s return, Wiggins’ fit, Poole’s emergence. By 2021-22 the Warriors were whole again.

A 4-2 Finals win over Boston gave Curry his first FMVP. The title redeemed the team—and himself—proving he was always the championship core, no proxy needed.

True greatness is not never falling, but rising to the top after the fall.
