A Basketball Family: The Barry Bloodline

Barry etched "basketball genes" into his family. All four sons played NCAA Division I—a textbook hoops dynasty. Eldest Scooter and third son Brent both reached the NBA; Brent Barry won a title with the Spurs and even took a slam-dunk crown, flying astonishingly for a white guard.

Brent inherited not just the surname but his father's "play with the brain" grit. The father-son never shared an NBA floor, yet "the Barrys breed ballplayers" became a league anecdote.
