In 1973 the Knicks beat the Lakers 4-1; Frazier averaged 21.9 points, 7.3 assists and 6.0 rebounds to win Finals MVP and a second ring.

Many remember 1970 as Reed's moment, but forget that the 1973 Finals MVP was Frazier. That year the Knicks returned and beat the Lakers 4-1—again the Lakers—for revenge.

Across the series Frazier averaged 21.9 points, 7.3 assists and 6.0 rebounds, impacting both ends. He locked down Los Angeles' guards on the perimeter and unleashed New York's team basketball through his playmaking. On title night New York erupted again—the franchise's second crown and Frazier's first Finals MVP.

If 1970 was "Reed's moment," 1973 was "Frazier's moment." Across two titles he grew from a dazzling rookie into the true engine of New York.
