Three Regular-Season MVPs: The 2021, 2022 and 2024 Reign

Nikola Jokić is among the rare players to dominate the regular season multiple times. He took the MVP in 2021 and 2022 consecutively, then added a third in 2024 — becoming the 9th player in NBA history with three MVPs, and the face of the "point-center" revolution.

In 2020-21, Jokić first claimed MVP: 26.4 points, 10.8 rebounds and 8.3 assists, leading Denver to the playoffs even after Murray's season-ending injury, and made First-Team All-NBA. As a center, his assist numbers rivaled elite point guards, redrawing the boundaries of the "five spot."

He defended it in 2021-22 at 27.1 points, 13.8 boards and 7.9 assists on 58.3% shooting. In 2023-24, after the title, he exploded again at 26.4/12.4/9.0 to win a third MVP — the strongest answer to any "one-title wonder" narrative.

Three MVPs mean far more than trophies. They prove Jokić isn't a system product but a center who fused passing, scoring, rebounding and IQ to the extreme. In a small-ball era, he played the most classical position with the most modern orchestration. The 2021-22-24 Joker was the league's most destructive force — a regular-season king, earned.
