Across the back half he averaged 34.7, nearly single-handedly pulling the team off the cliff. Dallas had no answer — he bullied through contact, drew fouls, hit mid-range and floated runners, unstoppable.

In G6 at Miami the building erupted. Wade scored 36 and led a 95-92 clincher, taking the series 4-2. When the final buzzer sounded, the 24-year-old dropped to his knees — the franchise's first title, and his first FMVP.
